Launched in May 2026, 911Conferences.com was created to make discovering conferences, training, and professional development opportunities easier for the people who serve our 9-1-1 community. What started as a centralized conference calendar continues to grow into a resource designed to help professionals discover new opportunities, explore training, and stay connected to what's happening across the industry. Whether you're attending your first conference, planning your agency's training calendar, or organizing an event of your own, we want to make it easier to find what's next.

Yasmen Barnett, ENP, CMCP | Founder, 911Conferences.com
911Conferences.com was founded by Yasmen Barnett, a public safety professional with more than a decade of experience in emergency communications and the 9-1-1 technology industry.
Her career began in a 9-1-1 communications center, where she served in roles ranging from telecommunicator and communications training officer to supervisor. She later transitioned into the public safety technology industry, working alongside emergency communications centers and public safety professionals across the country.
Through those experiences, she recognized how valuable conferences and professional development opportunities could be—and how easily those opportunities could be missed when you didn't know where to look.
That realization inspired the creation of 911Conferences.com.
The goal was simple: build the kind of resource she wished she'd had earlier in her career.
Today, Yasmen continues to support the 9-1-1 community through industry involvement, professional development advocacy, and her work connecting public safety professionals with resources and opportunities.
